Default t5 gearbox tail housing bush(pic heavy)

Started removing my engine and gearbox today, need to replace the tail housing bush. Its only done about 6000 miles after its rebuild.
I never realised they did'nt change the bush ,i just assumed it was all part of the rebuild, and thats the main thing i wanted doing.oh well you live and learn.

see how the bush has worn to one side.
There is a slot in the gearbox caseing which goes all the way through, there is also a slot in the bush, which again,i would assume is supposed to line up with the slot,it does not. This is what makes me thinks, its lack of oil to the bush, hence the wearing.

In this pic you can see the slot in the bush at about 12'oclock.
at 4'oclock you can see the slot in the gearbox casing.

Are these supposed to line up ???

Did you ever get this sorted ?, as far as I know the hole in a Cosworth T5 IS at the top.
