Default AP organic clutch is it ok at say 420bhp??

As above? i got a 3dr running 200block rwd, gt30, needs to mapped as its being built/restored hydro clutch conversion. want it just over 400bhp an will a AP organic be ok??? had a AP 6paddle from techniclutch but sent it back!! but if not up to it ill get a paddle again????? Thanks in advance!

It's torque not the BHP Bud that kills clutches, I think said clutch is pretty strong though, never had one so can't fully commit to my comment but I'm sure a Tuner, or someone running one will be able to give a certain reply bud

Helix paddle from matt lewis, your going to be around 400ftlb with that spec deffo need a paddle.

Techniclutch are renowned for supplying non AP parts. Any good make 6 paddle will do the job fine for you, plus they aren't snatchy when you get used to them.

Ye they should be done for selling shit. You could see by the one I had it wasn't an AP one. I rang havery Gibbs scs today as he mapping my car an he said a paddle aswel. So order one some wen

Ayup mate I had a AP padle off matt lewis with a helix cover, as that's what he recommended me over the AP organic as I was just under 400bhp, & he said it wasn't worth the risk of fitting a organic & it starting to slip, even though they are supposed to be grate clutches, as you don't want be paying out twice!!! & I didn't think the paddle was that heavy either.

I got my Helix 6 paddle clutch from Reyland Motorsports, it can easily handle 400 ft lbs . Go for a hydraulic clutch conversion as well, it makes such a difference, well worth the money.

ye im just guna get a paddle again an in the middle of hydro conversion, just the car in the bodyshop so cant do anything an thats costing enough lol
