Hi
If i brought a L8 ecu is it a straight swap for my L6 ecu.
Or is there more to it than that
Cheers

You will need a different mounting bracket which you can get from MSD and a 4x4 throttle position sensor which you will probably have to get from one of the Cosworth breakers.I changed mine so I can run Siemens 83lb injectors.

Correct (the outer two) to invert the polarity.
As said, MSD sell the mountings, as L8 does not have 'wings'.

Anembo engineering do the braided loom cheap , that converts l6/l8 wires so you don't have to touch them

That is correct as it is the reverse way to an L6 ecu.

The only difference is in the TPS wiring, something which is easily changed, opposed to changing the whole loom!

Hi guys
Thanks for the replys.
I've contacted Anembo engineering* and there loom goes between tps sensor and orignal loom to save chopping wires.
Cheers

You don't need to chop wires, just remove the terminals from the plastic connector and transpose the top and bottom wires. Takes 2 minutes and saves £25.
