Not really correct. But it depends a bit what you did exactly. If you jacked up only the rear and the front was still on the ground the rears shouldn't really turn.
If both rear wheels are turning in the same direction it means there is a speed difference on the centre differential. Normally the lsd in the centre differential would limit the turning of the rear propshaft in relation to the front prop.
If the rear wheels are turning in the opposite direction it means there is a speeds difference on the two output shafts on the rear differential. The lsd in the differential should limit the speed that the wheels can rotate relative to each other.
So normally it should always be difficult to turn a rear wheel while the front wheels are on the ground. If the front wheels are also off the ground all 4 wheels should spin in the same direction when you rotate a rear wheel. If you rotate a front wheel only the front wheels will rotate in opposite direction, because the front doesn't have an lsd.
So whether the rear wheels rotate in the same direction or the opposite direction depends on which lsd is stronger, the centre one or the rear one.

Thanks for the reply, yep front where still on the ground as only had back jacked up and tried to turn the rear wheel and both rears turned same way, would this suggest theres a transmission issue as was quite easy to turn rear wheels?

It should be quite difficult turning the wheels. If it is easy and the wheels turn in the same direction the centre lsd is worn.
When the rear prop is disconnected both rear wheels will turn in the same direction very easily. If they turn in opposite direction very easily the lsd in the rear diff is worn.
