Default Binding brakes

Hi!

I'm converting my 1990 sapph pinto engined, from rear drum brakes to discs. It's binding on left side only . I've tried a lot of things, for example:

- New pads
- New discs
- 2 brand new calipers (Different brands)
- New handbrake cable
- New brake hoses
- New copper brake lines on both rear arms
- New sliders /brake pins
- Overhauled master cylinder.
- Tried to remove brake pressure reducing valve underneath master cylinder. Still the same.

Is it something, that can cause binding on only left Wheel? Appreciate all replies, mate

I don't think so mate, it's binding on left side only (New caliper is mounted). I've tried slacken the cable. Still the same.

It's strange, the left disc usual gets very hot and the right disc is normal. Sometimes is normal on both sides.

i would ,,, ( whichever method is used )
push back or wind back the piston , just like when you fit new pads,
be sure to use a little copper grease where the edges of the pad sit in the carrier, and check they are not seized in, they need to move,,
sometimes brake dust or rust build up, makes the pads, jam up in their locations,
a good scraped with a flat screwdriver on the flat edges might remove some sh*t
also examine left pads for un-even wear, and check caliper mounting plate is true,

i am only trying to help , good luck
