Default rocker cover breather

Hi all
i have a Cosworth 310 bhp yb, i have fitted a rocker cover breather.
my question is do i really need it i am trying to tidy up the engine compartment and get rid of clutter. I've fitted a oil cooler and it still has the water jacket not sure what its called fitted behind the oil filter do i need the water jacket.
Any suggestions.
Paul.

Breather system is a good idea no matter the power really,
At the power your running your unlikely to need to oil cooler unless your seeing probs without,
And even then it would point to a prob elsewhere
Is it a road car or track car, and is the oil cooler thermostatically controlled?

the engines in a kit car and the oil cooler is controlled there just seems to be a lot of pipework now the gearbox has gone the engines coming out so its a good time to sort out the engine bay

If it's mainly road use I think you could quite easily do away with the remote oil cooler to tidy up a but of pipe work
And you could do do away with the breather if you wanted as it's not strictly needed as such
But it's not a bad idea to keep it if you can get away with it
