I personally wouldn't instal this product to my car, as it's a copy item and the compony thet spent time and effort in developing sutch product have been ripped off. But yes I had a bracket come with my hart inlet and believe there wouldnt be a problem.

Interesting this....
So does the oddkidd conversion come with a cable bracket and a different linkage arm?

I was thinking about this the other day as the cable coming from the back of the engine bay is a pain.

Dunno if I can justify Ł75 for it though...

Cheers Paul

BEHR RS500 intercooler - copied by RADTEC, PACE, PRO ALLOY, SPEC R, AIRTEC and so on, did it put any one of the thousands off?

Plus the Hart plenum isn't the best to start with and AS made it better which is why most buy theirs plus it's cheaper and comes with a better fitting kit. I know this as i have a Hart and it took work to make it actually work correctly

Si the threads in the Hart casting are shocking, mine came from an M.A.D car and actually had silicon in the threads now i don't know if thats Marks standard practice at build or it was just to help it joined together and not to leak lol but going off the torque figure it wouldn't even do half before it would start pulling the thread. I had to drill and fit inserts in every single hole including the throttle body holes, now it's perfect but i'm sure the Hart was around Ł500 so not value for money when AS is Ł369

I must admit the finish does look good on the AS inlet it came to Ł429 with all the bits I need to fit, I've sent it to get polished to match the cam cover should be back soon.

No the threads are shite and you should never have to modify anything that is supposed to fit

They are a little week what there made off is a soft cast. After ringing up and moaning about it I was told the correct torque figure which was a lot less than I thought and a lot less than my moderate swing with a 3/8 ratchet I considered suitable lol

Yeah sorted it in the end. But I mounted the rose joint to the side of the pedal and re enforced the pedal as could not get it to sit right mounted in the middle nor push on the master nice and straight. The slave is mounted on the bell housing and moby is welding a lug to it for the top bolt. When my engine is built I'll take the box to marks and he will work out where the bearing should sit with the slave fully extended as I'm using the same clutch as rod. Once I have that info I'll mod the fork
