Default T38 turbo with a .48 exhaust housing?

Recently purchased a turbo and was told it's a t38, it's built by cr turbos as it's stamped on there, but it has a .48 exhaust housing. Is it possible to have a t38 with this housing or not?

Yes its possible, but the back pressure will be massive unless you run something like 10psi

It's a strange one! Just hope I ain't been ripped off, I'm only aiming for 400hp on this engine, it's in my Capri, maybe it's best to send it to cr to have them check it? It just looks like a t34 at first glance.

Thanks for that, it looks exactly like the cr one listed there, but can't see the housing markings, looks the same as that one tho.
