Starting fault
Right ive noticed a few times now that when I start my car its as if the starter motor is still turning. I can turn the ignition off and take the key out and the starter is still turning the engine over.
Could this be a dodgey ignition switch or just the starter sticking. It only does it every now and then.

My guess would be the starter is acting up. Try taking the signal lead (small wire ) off the starter when it does it, if it keeps running then its the starter. Don't leave it alone, because the starter can get very hot from running for long times and can melt or cause a fire. Not the best thing....

Surely its gonna be the switch cause when I take the key out the starter is still trying to turn the engine over. I will have to have a look at the car later.

what you need to determin is if when its still cranking is if there is still a feed to the trigger wire, if there is then it's the switch if not then it's the starter not dis-engaging.

If you can get to it whilst it's doing it either as above check the feed wire from the switch see if its live, or pull the wire off the solenoid, see if it stops.

I took the cossie to an exhaust place to get another lambda boss welded into the front pipe. The bloke told me 2 of the studs are missing. I must not of tightened them properly when I change my front prop shaft uj lol. Another job to do.
