Default 3dr Misfire

I am a bit of a lurker on here but thought someone may have an idea on this.

My car has developed a misfire which I am struggling to find.
If I drive as normal ie little throttle just coasting along in any gear it holds back between 2-3k revs. If you give it more accelerator it goes past the problem and boosts fine and if you give it loads of accelerator you don't notice it at all. It was fine when I brought it and the problem started as an occational cough between 2-3k but is getting worse.
I am running t34 on greens, group a coil, standard airbox with K&N element 500 style cooler and s/s exhaust.

I have changed the plugs and gapped them to 0.6
I have removed the dump valve.(the problems started not long after fitting this)
I have new leads on it but that doesn't rule them out, I will put the old ones on next to rule it out.
No change so any ideas?

Here are a few pics as we all like pics.

It may be a fueling problem, i.e. TPS not calibrated correctly?

Try cleaning or replacing the crank sensor ,normally these get covered in oil and play up .

Thanks for the input. Would the Tps go out of alignment by itself? I have got a used one on its way so will get the multimeter on both and see what readings I get.
Re-reading the original post I don't think I described the fault brilliantly, the fault seems to be when you have the accelerator pedal in 1 particular position.

TPS looks to be faulty as if it was the crank sensor it would do it all the time if not seeing one of the lugs.

Lets just hope he sorts it we all know there's nothing more annoying than trying to find faults.
