Default Saph 4x4 clutch help

Hi guys need some help with my saph 4x4 hydraulic clutch conversion

I did the research on the topic telling me I I needed BMW e36 slave & land rover series 2 master, so bought slave from eBay, & master from a local land rover specialist, got them fitted up finally 2night & the pedal is really heavy
I've fitted a paddle clutch (hence the conversion) but tried the pedal with the cable b4 hand & that was a breeze compared to now????

I'm desperate to get the car on its wheels so I can mot it, as it's been off the road since October as it's undergone a full underside resto, so hope someone can help.
