Default car not running right on cold start

Hi,
On cold start afr fluctuates from 13 odds to near 18,nearly cuts out,
Once warm running temp all fine,
Have renewed inlet gaskets as was on original ones but still same,
Coolant temperature sensor pretty new,few months old, faulty?
Lambda sensor same age,
Any ideas?

I would try another CTS to rule it out first.

Check your fuel pressure regulator. fit an inline gauge to check pressure 3.5 bar with vacuum pipe removed is what your looking for unless it's been altered for your map.

New cts made no difference, unplug lambda and it stops it,so wired narrow band feed from afr thing to ecu, thought it fixed it but no,
Is my daily so need it running right,
Any ideas before I break or sell?

Have checked values at ecu,all seems good, but still afr going lean to near cutting out even when warm now,
Think it went ok when moved some wires under throttle body but went back to way it was within minutes,
Going to start stripping back engine loom see if any dodgy wires,
Any other thoughts?

Afr gauge is plx I think calibrates it's self, ecu connected to its own lambda again
Not running right when warm unless have it so rich you can smell the fuel,
Even if I ignore afr can't seem to get it right, just pulled at wires etc but no change,
Starting to think ecu it's wasted spark to,have read some folks have had problems with it,

I'm on closed loop and wasted spark and NEVER had any issues is your ecu pot in the central position ? Have you tried tweeking it?

Check your signal, live and earth to your lambda sensor. if could just be a duff sensor and the afr gauge narrow band output is not working???

Had you had the tps off? if that's not set correctly that can cause all sorts of issues.

Regards

Paul

Tps not been touched since set,was ok when checking, reset ecu and it's worse than ever this morning, possible air leak?sprayed carb cleaner every where and no sign of leak, will try pressure test it tomorrow,

Just to see if this changes open up the spark plug gap for a test. See if that makes it idle better when cold.
