Smile Spring clean for my Sapphire 2wd

After owning my 2wd Sapphire Cosworth for 19 years I thought it deserved a bit of a spruce up this Spring ready for shows and track day action.
The front and rear bumpers have been resprayed and the rear bumper had new side brackets fitted, as the old ones were broken which meant it kept dropping down.It is spot on now, nice and firm. New ford black mouldings were also fitted to finish it off properly. The mirrors and fog light surrounds were also resprayed.
The guy who did it was highly recommended by Richard and Malcolm at Tremona Garage in Southampyon who have used him for many of the refurbishments they do for all types of Fords. His name is Graham Foster and he has a workshop near Eastleigh.
I wanted the respray to blend in with the rest of the original paint and not look obvious it has had new paint and he has achieved it nicely.
My new kumho Ecsta v 700 medium compound track day tyres have also just been fitted and I am really pleased with the extra grip they give.
The car has had a lot of modifications done to it in the time I have owned it and it is an animal! I love my car and still get a kick out of humbling many modern so- called high performance cars.

The arches have been rolled as there is a clearance problem otherwise. It has 205/40/17 Kumo Ecsta V700 medium compound track day tyres. I did try to fit wider tyres but they caught on the bodywork.
Its a polished finish A&S Hart style plenum.
