Anyone running a YB on Omex ecu

Ran mine on a 710. Good ecu but like any aftermarket ecu only as good as the person/company mapping it.
You'll need high impedance injectors or resistors if you plan to use a Cosworth replacement low impedance ect.
I ran external ignition amps as I was advised the one built in isn't that good.
I would use omex again if the spec of my engine wasn't standard now

Hi mate, thanks for the reply.
You mention external ignition amps - where did you source these?
I intend to use COP ignition (Toyota Yaris) and lambda with knock sensing.
The car is a 2wd which arrived without harness and ecu (I already have a 2nd hand 710) hence I have a free hand with which ecu to use.
I agree that the quality/ability of the person doing the mapping will make or break the job.
