speedo information needed
Hi,
My speedo has failed on my 4x4 sapphire. I replaced the cable but it still does not work. I have read other posts that say it is either the turning gear in the housing that bolts onto the the diff. Its also suggested that it could be the part that sits in the gearbox, and the gearbox needs to be dropped to replace it. How does this all work/connect? E.g. the linkage between the gearbox and the housing on the diff.
Thanks.

On a 4x4 speedo drive is on sump other side of the front diff. You would have to strip it and check the plastic cogged wheel and the drive that you put the cable in to.
