The early 3-door type should have H13 marked on the bar at one end. The later type as used on the Sapphire 2wd should have H14.
I'd have a look and see what you actually have first though. I think the RS500s got the later H14 type ; also the later type bar was also a Ford 'dealer fix' for 3-door owners who complained about poor straight-line stability ( the H14 bar is supposed to add about 1 degree of caster which improves the self-centreing effect of the steering ). The extra caster also changes the dynamic camber as you turn in so any negative camber you have, when the wheels are static and pointed straight, will be preserved for longer as you turn the steering wheel. Basically, it should improve front end grip slightly in a turn
