Default XR4Ti Rear beam bush help

I have an XR4Ti (I'm in the US)

The bolt that runs through my driver side rear beam bush snapped, so I removed it.

Now, I need to get my bush back in. It's a stock bush but seems to be in good shape. Would like to put it back in but apparently is impossible.

I've covered it in grease and tried the method of putting a board above the rear beam and then pressing the bush into place with a car jack. It doesn't seem to be working at all.

I've tried pressing it in slowly and I've tried rocking the car.

Seems like I shouldn't be having this much trouble.

Try leaving it jacked up with a few inches of lift and leave overnight, if greased and lineup right , gravity and time will work its magic...

alrighty. I got her jacked up. I've coated it in a ton a grease and have been adding a little bit more pressure every 45min or so.

I let it sit for ~5 hours. I even added weight to the back.
Nothing.

Tried seeing if I could rig up a c clamp somehow and it was useless as well.

MC2Racing.com has 10mm longer bolts to help if you need it. I highly recommend their stuff.

Great! Then you will likely want the longer bolts too. The poly bushings are not able to compress as easily as the rubber ones so it's sometimes difficult to get the bolt started. I have had mixed results in my attempts. Sometimes I had been able to get the stock length bolt back in, other times I was not.

I have a hardware store in town that has an unbelievable selection of bolts and I'm going to see if they have anything. If not, I'll probably order the bolts from mc2.

No need for longer bolts. Just jack the beam up to compress the poly bush enough for the bolt to catch.

The one benefit of the longer bolts are they are allen head too. I have their solid weld-in kit, but being an allen allows you to locate the bolt with the allen key and push the beam up with the bolt. It won't fall down into the stock like a hex head does.
