Can i sleeve my 4X4 front hubs to fit 2wd struts?

Hi, ive got a mint pair of bilstein 2wd struts and was wanting to fit them to the front of my 4x4 sapph. there is about 4mm of a difference I think, could I sleeve them as fit them without any issues?
