Default DOHC to pinto swap

Changing my 2.0 efi twin cam for a 2.0 efi pinto, anyone know if the pinto efi loom will plug straight into the dohc fuse box?

Going for pinto as its easier to turbocharge than the twink

Cheers

Don't know about that but the inlet & exhaust are on the oppsite sides so you'll have to adapt a few things anyway.

Also the DOHC has an internal fuel pump, the pinto is like the cossy, so if you go turbo I don't know how much the standard DOHC will flow?

You get DOHC turbo & people use them when they do 24v conversions so probably alright, just something to be aware of.

Good luck

It's fairly simple connection wise, however the ECU will need changing anyway, as the one you have most likely cannot run a FI engine.

This is just a couple of things which have been mentioned so far, there is ALOT of differences from a N/A engine.
