hi can anyone help me (roughly) price how much my engine is going to cost to finish. the engine is out of 4x4 saph cosworth.
I'm not sure on the full specs be but so far I've got the following items
je pistons, arrow (copy) rods, gt30 turbo, tial 44mm external wastgate, hart inlet
this is how the engine stands at the min


basically it needs the head completely rebuilding to finish.
I want the head 500 spec, porting, new valves, valve guides, solid lifters, suitable cams, long studded (10), injectors, the lot basically

I'm no engine builder myself, nor do I know every component needed.

all help, advice and input would be greatly appreciated

The head will probably be around the 2k mark, about 1k to port n polish then the rest on the other components, as a rough guestimate

Has the bottom end been re-built already with the pistons and rods???

You need to have the block machined for 10 long studs and think theres a water pump mod you need to have done, you may as well get the under piston oil jets machined in at the same time, I would...

You need to contact a few engine builders for prices, I know Reyland do it, also Hart, x-power engines and field motorsport to name a few, I'm sure all or most cosworth specialists can get the work done
