Default 4x4 T34 to fit a 2wd?

Hi guys,

Ok so i picked up a T34 at a good price and just realized it appears to be a 4x4 turbo?

Is there an easy way to make it fit or is it more hassle than its worth?

I think you'll need a 4x4 manifold too???????

no the housing rotation would negate the need for a manifold swap. just loosen the bolts holding the compressor housing so you can rotate it, bolt the turbo to the manifold and rotate the comp housing until you can fit the wastegate bracket. worst case scenario would be you cut the bracket off the comp housing and have it rewelded in the correct place. but im pretty sure you could just use the bolt on one of the other turbo

Cheers for the info mate...I'll see if the bracket off the old T3 fits first. Really don't like the idea of cutting and welding ...

Worst case scenario i'll send it off to CR for them to sort out and adapt for a 2wd.

My old 2wd had T34 on 2wd manifold. As stated, the Housing was rotated and the original actuator mount had been cut off, and replaced with a bolt on one. Not sure what it was off, but it looked factory and hadnt been welded. best picture I had of it
