Aftermarket front ABS sensor
I was chearching for a aftermarket front ABS sensor and found this one.
Mapco 86102.
Maybe this could work , I only need to change the connector , whats not a problem.
I have sended an email at Mapco for the mechanical details. Let's hope they fit .
Or maybe somebody works at a shop where they have these sensors and can take mesurements.
I think electrical al sensors are about the same ( +-1100 ohm resistance )
Wil be continued.

Hi good news and bad news.
It can be fitted whitout a problem.
The size is exactly the same.
I have tested it and a ford sensor gives about 40- 60mV when turning hard on the wheel but sadly the mapco one only 3-4 mV which is way to low.
Very strange because the internal sensor resistance is for both +- 1100 ohms.
The only difference is that the ford has 2 visible little iron cores at the open front and the mapco type is closed at the front.
What i have also found out is that the modern wheel rings have bigger teeth then the old fords.
Here the teeths on the inner ring are very small.
I will look futher in to it
