Default misfire

a older gentleman around my area is having a problem with his 4x4 cosworth it misfires on start up and keeps misfiring when cold. once it warms up it idles perfect and runs perfect. been told the ignition side is fine any ideas???

wouldnt that just be fueling and over fueling? someone mentioned the multi plugs behind head?

Yeah if it's still got the multiplugs get em off and solder the wires together, common missfire problems on 4x4's

mine used to be like that,
I reckon condensation in dizzy cap,
put wasted spark kit on it and never any more bother,
give inside dizzy cap spray with wd40 or such like before starting see if it makes any differance

The whole ignition side has been checked in a garage and its fine

I would still go to the blue plug in the head first & a set of plugs.
As when it first starts its overfueling (which can sound like a 'miss' to some people or like shes running on 3) this fouls the plugs and so it will miss abit til its burnt that off then it runs fine.
