Default 3 door Cosworth clutch cable.

I think my clutch cable has snapped on my 3 door. Pedal is on the floor and looking under the bonnet it looks intact although a touch melted. I do have a heatsheild so just putting this down to age, i dont know when/if it was last done.

Ive seen the 2wd one on MSD website

. Is this one ok? No tricks with many diff cables or anything?
Is there anything else to replace while im on?

Cheers. Ross.

Did you buy one as I've just taken one off my car after 2k miles as I've got a hydraulic conversion.

I have MSD one, no nothing else to change, only thing I would say is to watch the routing.

There are like two sheaths that move on the cable and mine moved and it got sandwiched between sump and a pipe on the steering, the result was the chaffing wore through the metal pipe on the steering!

I wouldn't be paying nowhere near £56 for one though lol!
