Default 18" Tyre Query On A Saph

On my saph at the minute is 8x18 with 215-35-18 rubber. Im almost sure the ET of the rims is ET33 but ill have to double check later. Rear arches are standard but front arches have been properly rolled. My question is could i fit 225-35-18 all round, with no problems ? Or would 225-40-18 fit all round or would that be pushing it abit, the car is fairly stiff on koni adj with 25mm Bayjoo springs.

Hi mate I have 225/35/18 Goodyear Eagle all around my 4wd Saph.. ET35 Compomotive 8x18".
This is really the max, wide/height! didn't drove it yet because it is a resto but it seems to fit.
I only had a problem with the Koni's on the front the tyres hit the spring cup, even after I modified it! I've choosen to go with coilovers and sold the Koni's, the coilovers haven't the spring cups so no problem anymore with that.
If you want pics see my resto thread

225/40/18 would be too tight and scrub everywhere
As said above 215/35/18 and 225/35/18 will be ok

yes. to get good clearance. but its safe - the spring do not touch the cup at that part of the cup.
