Default RIDE Height

Hi all,

Does anybody know what the standard ride height of a three door is? I ask this as I have AVO springs that where sold as standard but I only have around 10mm arch clearance ! the car has 17inch comps et35 on fronts (where min clearance is) the arch kit has been trimmed right back too!
I don't what to throw more money down the drain without somekind of comfirmation to height?

Thanks for any help, much appriciated. T

I always remember "Tabetha" saying that Avo are in fact around 10MM lower (Despite being marked as std) his words though, not mine!

I brought some AB springs and when put next to what I believe Eibach lowering springs which were fitted they were the same physical size, which I thought strange, unless they compress differently or something, again AB springs are supposed to be std ride height but again the same 10MM rule is known to apply!

Tbh, 10MM is nothing really!

Cheers Martin , have you any idea about how much space I should have between the arch and the tyre @ STD height? (comps 17inch 8J et35 . tyres 215/40/17) It just seems that the tyre is swallowed up by the arch! And yet the rear is as high as a dragster!
If I turn to full lock you would be lucky to get 5mm clearance between tyre and arch, hit a bump and the body kit will leave the wing!

Thanks for your help. T

It's not a lot, especially with the wheels you have, I have around 3 fingers distance, BUT with standard wheels.

Something seems wrong tbh, if the rear is that much higher than the front!

Cheers Martin, could you do me a favor and measure the distance from the centre of the front hubs to underside of arch, maybe i can determine what mine is lowered by if at all?

Thanks for your help,

Cheers, T.

I have a Saph and only have one std ride height spring fitted at the moment :cry, but I can do so on this one all the same if you wish, although I can't get to the car until the beginning of next week though?

Cheers for that , I really need this measurement on a 3 door. Anyone out there with a 3 door on standard spring height that can measure from centre of the front hubs to underside of arch?
