Default Hestitation during normal driving

'88 2wd Saph, Stage 3 T34, new dizzy cap, arm, group A coil, leads, fairly recent plugs.

Just started last week and it's pretty annoying.... Only happens on gentle low load driving, becomes hesitant and almost feels like it has just run out of petrol, then picks up again. Not a violent splutter, quite subtle but def' something not right....
Not entirely consistent, but does it every journey now.

Any ideas?

When was the crank sensor/phase sensor last changed?

What condition are they in?

Unknown on both of them...... but got a new phase sensor to go in, just looks like a bit of a headache to fit correctly!
Possible they could cause these symptoms?

i had exactly the same thing 3 weeks ago i thought here we go more expense! Could not believe what it turned out to be! Andy came round checked everything and noticed the coil lead was routed right by the map sensor(my fault took it off to try on my m8 cos) Andy re routed it away from the map sensor and went for a drive and wow no spluttering drive perfectly again, something to try bud

That's odd! Haven't changed the routing of anything like that lately, but will have a look....
