I am wanting to replace my standard intercooler on my saph 4x4.

After shopping around all I can come up with is RS500 style coolers, which are way bigger and I've heard they are laggy as hell.

Is there anywhere that sells standard Alloy intercoolers?

Std ones are alloy and the 4x4 is fine for upto 340bhp

Airtec 500 style ones are the best value for money and tbh lag won't be a issue

I have a pace products 500 cooler with t34 etc etc and don't notice any drastic lag. Worth getting a bigger cooler bud

My worry is putting a 500 cooler on mine which is running standard and it not knowing what difference it will make, I don't want to spoil it

You won't spoil it. You add torque etc etc and will work very nicely with a light stage one tune. And now that companies are so advanced with tuning cossie these days it will be safe as houses. Even adding a filter element will not spoil or change the appearance of the standard engine bay and mongoose aswell as magnex now do OE shape updated exhausts instead of the single pipe, both gaining you more power still standard looks.

I see Burton Power do an Airtec 60mm core and a 70mm core for about the same price. Any advantage there?
