over haul a starter motor ????

Hi can i over haul my stater motor on my dohc 2.0 gls k plate is it easy to do ? what do i need ? also does any 1 have a how 2 ? thanks

it can be done mate but unless you know where to buy the parts to overhaul you starter it is much easier to buy an exchange unit
