What Engine mounts?
Morning all,
Need some advise please.... my 4x4 has a 2wd conversion. What engine mounts should this have as I have some exhaust clearance issues.
Cheers

If it's been converted to 2wd it should have a 2wd crossmember, mount's and i'm not 100% sure but the downpipe may need to be 2wd (i know systems are different)
your mounts should look like this
uprated 2wd mount

std 2wd mount
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cosworth-2...item2a1e61e027
if they are right then you may have to look at the downpipe
or crossmembers
2wd

4x4

The exhaust I have is a 4x4 and its fouling the box. The downpipe is also really close to the bulkhead. To be fair, the 2wd downpipe I had was the same in that respect.
It looks like the engine could do with moving up an inch - thats all it needs.
I also get quite a judder when pulling off
Was hoping this was an engine mount issue? What you guys rekon??

Mate thats really helpfull. Looking at it just now, id say I have a 2wd cross member and setup. Mounts are standard.

Thats my theory look at your exhaust as you really need a 2wd complete system that runs down the drivers side of the box

I may be wrong here but i'm guessing your issue stems from the system passing under the box to run down the opposite side - this is pulling the downpipe downwards and completely in the wrong position - their was a reason they redesigned the 2wd ex system when they did 4x4
