If you don't have valve cutouts the best cam you can use is a AB07.

Turbosystems can supply the cam

we have 2 cam choices if your pistons are std
if you have valve pockets there are far better cams to use than the bd14

with that turbo anything bigger is a waste of time, but like tony says there is loads of cam choices out there..

When the engine spec is simple its best to just keep the cam choices simple..

The bd 14 on a simple engine spec is a great cam and gives all round good performance..

Out of interest , where would the inlet cam bd14 show its advantage on a power graph in standard ish spec with the above turbo? My fresh build has std cams but i do have the cut outs for a 'better' inlet cam and thinking of going to t34/48 anyway .

if you are using that turbo on a stock engine as a road car I'd leave the standard cams in it

The bd 14 inlet timed right makes it come on song stronger and hold torque longer the actual numbers arent massive in comparison but the torque spread is noticeably longer

The bd 14 is a great inlet cam and works great from a 350 to 450 hp engine although once over 400 hp theres some really nice cam choices especially with the gt series turbos..

Yes mate and unless you never disire more than 450-500 hp it will always serve you right..

If your ever thinking of going big power and say a gt turbo or similar then theres more choices..

Thanks Tony, thats the exact way i,m going tbh but wanted to see opinions like this. The plan is to get a solid 350 hp and torque or thereabouts on the stock engine/cams albeit a touch of mild porting.
