Is there much differance throughout the differant models?

My column it too long and the studs are too short!?!?

What do you want to know?
You have the adjustable and the non adjustable versions, the fixed one has a nut to hold the steering wheel on and the other has a bolt
Then you have the collapasable bit in the middle that will move the shaft up and down and the shaft can slide in and out of the main body as well on both
Post up a pic of what doesn't fit
