Default Bumper trim

The black plastic trim on the front bumper of my Saph is pretty knackered.... lacquer peeling from what looks like stone chip type damage.
What's the best option for sorting this? Could you peel all the lacquer off realistically to make it all black?! Or do I really just need to get a replacement?

I used to sell this stuff off the roll back in the late 90s in a car spares shop but haven't seen it for sale for ages now....

i bought a brand new old stock one off ebay for 40 quid and was a complete waste of money because it was so old all the glue had dried up so i could have just just glued the old one back in.

May well do that! But I also found another thread saying that East Kent Trim do them as well for £30 a pair! Sounds good to me....

They're easy to get replacements for, whip off the old one and stick in a new one is the best and easiest approach!

You can get aftermarket ones alot cheaper but even the Ford ones are easy to come by.

Just ordered one from my local dealer today.... for a pound less than that one.
The East Kent option is only for the 3 door

Mental that it's over £40 for something that used to be sold for a couple of quid a metre!
