If its the 2pin plugs your talking about, one is phase sensor and other one is crank sensor, dont think that it matters which way round the 2 wires in each plug goes but if thats fell apart your car wont start.

Cheers Jason

I thought the phase sensor and the crank sensor measured a resistance so shouldnt matter which round the 2 wires went, but you learn something new every day

I think what is meant above is that it matters where each sensor is connected to the loom.

I don't think you can misconnect the sensors, as the connector plugs will only fit one way I think?

As said it matters that th sensor goes in correct plug but as youve said the 2 single wires have came out of one plug cant see it makes any differance which way in the plug they go,

I replaced a plug on my phase sensor years ago, and got the wires the wrong way round, the car would not start. I then swapped the wires, and it was perfect
