Hi all, having a few issues with my cosworth, just wanted to know what chip i had in my car, if it was a cheap nasty 1 or not. Ive taken the ecu lid off and its got written on the chip BF36.
Does this mean any thing to any one?

Only thing I can think is that is the type of checksum, usually you have more info like a name, or strings of numbers that can be dipicted to give you more info, if your not sure then good a known good chip, it's a cheap price to pay, considering the consequences a bad map could cause.
