Strut brace
As above do these really make any difference to the car or are they more for looks. just been watching one on ebay, i may fit one to the 3 door and paint it black at the ends fadding into orange in the middle. Its mainly black under the bonnet now
So what are your opinions
Also what is the easiest way to remove the strut tops on a 3 door?? i had some spare ones in the garage that ive painted gloss black ,i had mole grips on the shock while i had a socket on the top and the shock just kept spinning .
And why im under the bonnet does anyone know what the best thing to use to refurb the standard turbo heasheild as all the silver stuff is pelling off and it makes it look tatty . Sorry for the questions and thanks if anyone can help

Strut brace seemed to make mine feel tighter!? Strut tops should be easy, is there an Allen key hex in the top of the shock to hold it? Might be worth getting some stick on silver heat sheild, or, if its too bad, just binning it an getting another?

It has the koni adjustables on mate so no allen key hole
And think i may go for the brace then , as i think it will finish my bay off nice .
As fro the headsheild stuff, where can you get it ?? i dont really want to shell out £110 for one

Hi ,
had a simelar problen this weekend .
Bolt of my strutbrace snapped and had to replace it ( defitinly works in my opinion)
Come back to the point have also koni adjustables and the 8mm was not holding the pressure so I sprayed some WD 40 overnight and put a rubber band around the shock with a molegrip .Used the air hammer with a socket due to the fast spin and the slight hammering top nut came loose
was a happy man !
