Default Lunched my Diff today

Sat on the start line at Stratford Raceway dropped the clutch and nothing just a clonk and plenty of revs and nothing in the way of forward motion

Had the tow of shame back to pits and noticed the prop was going round but no drive to the rear wheels after a terrifing 1 hour 20 mins tow poling from Stratford to Tysley up it went on the ramp took the diff out and this is what we found:

What's mising here?

Oh yes these two bits! Or should I say 5 bits

Rich

It was ok till the sticky tarmac of Stratford Raceway
Twinnys already rebuilt my driveshafts.
I'm on the look out for a gripper now just depends on price.

Done the same thing to my diff friday. Shot those two little cogs out of the caseing :0
Are thick walled casings avalible? When these gripper diffs are built into a casing is everything else upgraded? Flanges bearings, cw&p etc.
I'm sure it was my planet gears and pinion that failed not the actual diff.
What can be done to prevent the same thing happening again?
Regards Aaron

jag diffs use the old joints not modern cv joints, plus ive got adapters for the driveshafts and prop so i can use standard cosworth shafts.

Which model jag? Theres alot of different models. What mods need to be done to fit the diff to a cosworth beam. Also is there enough room for the diff + extra flanges and the cv's?
Does sound like a good mod but finding it hard to find any conversion info.
I've got about 450bhp and standard diffs start whining after the second drive

You need to ask rod tarry or mark sheed but im shore rods diff is from a daimler limo! and yes they fit into a modded cosworth beam but drive shafts and diff flange on prop need modding i think. Also im shore rods diff was dirt cheap! but the cost was in having other bits modded

The 3 Door is now back on the road sporting a brand new Bara 240nm pumped up diff with forged sun and planet gears.
It feels really nice and tight and lights up both rear tyres nicely
