Trying to get my centre console out, to fix a crack / replace...
Anyone know how? Been trying to get it clear of the dash, gear lever/handbrake......
Do you have to get the lower dash out?

iirc the lower dash does have to be loosened/removed. There is 1 if not 2 screws at the front that locate it.

Very easy, you need to remove the stowage area under the handbrake (3 screws), window switches, (This includes the switches located in the rear, fixed to the back of the console) this removes the black plastic section around gear lever as well which them exposes further screws and the tape storage compartment under the armrest, 2 screws IIRC, the there are some screws under this.

Place car in second gear as you will get a better angle to remove from memory.

Thanks guys. I got as far as getting all the screws out, just couldn't get it past the gearstick and handbrake.... Can't remember which gears I'd tried it in? I'll try again.....!
