Default Adjustable Rear Beams are Awesome!!

Finally had all the little wiring issued sort so I picked the 3 Door up from DynoTorque saturday morning i'd already had it corner weighted and the geometry setup at Jacksons the previous saturday but other than the drive to DynoTorque to drop it off for the wiring I hadn't driven it and certainly not in anger.

All Saturday and Sunday i've given it a good shakedown and I have to say it's awesome, everything feels so tight and postive it doesn't go sideways unless you really provoke it and I mean really! So much grip the way it turns in the grip is amazing!

Here's a quick spec of the the suspension mods:

Complete resto underneath stripped, welded, undersealed, painted.
Every single nut & bolt replaced underneath with 12.9 zinc plated ones
All suspension components stripped and powder coated gloss black

Adrenaline Stage 2 Rear Beam
Solid Rear Beam Mounts
MSD Poly Diff Mount
Escos Rear 22mm ARB with new Powerflex Bushes
CDF poly bushed drop links
New Rear hubs with new bearings
Recond driveshafts
Special recond 7.5" Diff with 3.9 CWP
Gaz Gold Coilovers
Front Powerflex topmounts (although I do want some adjustables at some point)
Recond front hubs with new bearings
Recond steering rack with new tie rods and tie rod ends plus solid bush mounts
New steering column bush
New Powerflex Front ARB bushes
Compbrake Front adjustable TCA's with new Powerflex bushes (the stronger thicker TCA's you can get)
Front grp a strut brace
Custom triangulated rear strut brace with extra plate in floor strengthed though to the diff mount

Same spec as mine, but i don't have EsCos rear bar and only have Std GAZ coilovers.
Been very happy with mine always found it very controlable when powering out of corners and the rear is at the limit

I'm getting the exhaust modifed soon to have all v-band joints plus to put back in the centre box as it's just far to loud with just a backbox.
When I get it up on the ramp i'll take some photos

Not the big rubber one in the engine bay as I managed to get a mint one off a scrap sapp last year.

The one that goes on the base of the column itself I got it from GGR for £6, can't find GGR selling them on eBay now but there is another fella in Cancock selling one on eBay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Sierra-Mk1-MK2-RS-Cosworth-XR4x4-XR4i-P100-Steering-Column-Bush-Repair-Kit-/170809193323?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM& hash=item27c505736b

It takes all the play out of the column, my old one was finished.

I've got 516bhp and it grips so well, before you used to have to hang for dear life when it came on boost now I can do it one handed.
I can't wait to get it on track to really push it hard.

It does put a smile on your face when it comes on boost, but you've got time to knock up a sandwich while you wait.
I did alittle test last night I was just crusing at 40mph in 3rd I buried the loud pedal and it came on boost just as reached 80mph!!!

For the steering rubber joint I found a landrover discovery one had same coupling so I bought one of those, dismantled the 2 and made a good one for my 3 door. Just used bolts to hold together but tacked the nuts to the threads so no way of coming adrift.

I cut the arb mounting points out of a rotten sapp that my mate was braking then bolted the escos arb to the mounts that way you can be 100% sure you've welded them in the right place.

Really hard to say mate as I collected most of the parts over a year and and recond bits as I had the money then had the whole underside done in one go.
I bet I spent £5000 all in but thats for everything like braided fuel and brake hoses too.
