Default Sierra Cosworth 2wd parts onto 4wd shell

I've got a complete 2wd saff that I'm using as a donor for my 4wd shell.

I'll be parking them side by side and swapping everything from the 2wd to the 4wd shell.

What mods do I need to do to the 4x4 shell before swapping everything across?

Reason I'm asking is I'm getting the shell painted inside and out before I swap everything across and would like everything to bolt up without having to mod things as I go.

Thanks

What shell is this?
As far as I am aware the only thing you will need is a modified gearbox cradle, the shell itself wont need any mods.

As above, from memory you need a spacer between the gearbox cradle and the gearbox mount as the back of the box sits too low and you cannot use the 2wd cradle unless you fabricate one, which is easy enough

wiring harness, if your using complete car harness you will be fine buy mixing 4wd car and 2wd engine will need plugs lobbed off and hard wired or using 2 plugs off the same harness to join up.

Thanks Sean, I will be using the complete 2wd loom in the 4x4 shell.

So I can use the 2wd cradle and make up spacers? Or I have to fabricate one? Don't understand above it says both lol.

Thanks

the diagonals of a 4wd and 2wd dont match the sliding bolts in the shell!

Ok thanks for that. Easy fix then. I'll probably make a spacer for it to fit.
