Gates Timing belts

Just found these online if anyones after a timing belt for their Cossie. Seems a good price and they say there in stock.

How much was the delivery mate? I found a parts distributor 5 minutes from me which I tried to price match against the link i posted. Ended up collecting one from them @ £22 which was still cheap.

Its says it on the box as well. I think if you check through the link, the gates belts are nearly 50% dicount on all cars. @ £16, its the cheapest I have seen them. some places are charging £50-£60 for them.

The tools for gates are maintained by the engineering company that does my work and the lad there said they are all the same nothing different about any of them, if citreon belts are the same size as YB then its what to get if cheaper than cossie dealers

I just searched the gates part number out '5248XS' rather than 'cosworth' price it listed the same price for both Citreon and Cosworth. gonna search out some tensioners now.

Ordered one up @£21.16 with P&P Luckily I've got a tensioner with less than 400 miles on, so i'll be using that

I think with the factory only being up the road every motor factors around here only really supplies Gates - i'm sure they have a shop there too so i might find out what they cost direct

Where in the North are you BRAMMER? i struggled to find gates belts for the power steering and the twin alternater belts.

The one supplied was listed wrong in the catalogue, it was way too tight to squeeze on so I had to use another Motorcraft one I found in the loft.
