hi all im looking for a full set of doorstrips or maybe just a drivers side one for my sierra sapphire
but i am in 2 minds weather to remove them all together???

they are the black ones with the red insert
same as below (may only get away with having to replace the drivers door one)



anybody know where i can find some and for how much ?????

Don't think they are mate. There was a set on eBay a while back genuine ford cosworth ones in there bags and they sold for over Ł600 I thought it was outrageous and went to ford just to see what they were originally but couldn't help as no longer available.

think it might just come to takeing them off then! i know prob dont look brilliant with them off but Ł600 for a new set! haha

Don't get me wrong mate ones other than Cosworth may well be available but cosworth ones aren't. Since yours have an insert and aren't Cossy ones you could try ford you might be lucky.

the red stip ones are on ebay for around 12 quid mate. they are very similar to cossie ones too and you can hardly tell the difference if you changes the strip to black

Can you not get a red strip for the bumpers.I think the red strip looks well against the black paint.

I can 100% guarantee the cosworth door ones are still available from Ford they are roughly Ł38 retail each I just got the drivers door one for mine for Ł32 trade last week I checked all the others and both wings were unavailable from daventry all the doors ones are still availble hope this helps I have the print out from my local ford dealer here

Repro wing mouldings have been done.

I bought the set in this pic and the right hand moulding is a repo.



No idea who makes them though.

I sold the one in the pic on Ebay for around Ł20 as I managed to source a genuine one for Ł80 !

Ł600 alot for door strips. ive got a full set of brand new 1s but i wouldnt argue if someone offered me crazy money like that

If they're still available at Ł32each from ford and sell for Ł600 a set on eBay, that's a nice profit margin!!

I went to ford 2-3 year ago as I needed one for a 4x4 Cossy front door I had and was told they weren't available hence why I looked on eBay. I ended up getting one from a breaker.

mine have curled up on one end. Is it possible to heat and bend them back into shape??
