Am I right in assuming " ALL " 1986 3 dr Sierra Cossies had a sun roof fitted ? Mine does.
I've been told that was the case, but noticed all the 1/18th scale models I've seen, and I have 2 of them, dont seem not to have them and the 1/72nd scale
( or whatever it is) one I have does.
Can anyone put me right on this ?

The 1:18 models you refer too are probably the minichamps models.
If you look at the more detailed Autoart models they do have the sunroofs included

All the rhd 3dr cosworths came from ford with a sunroof unless its been reshelled into or built up from a motorsport shell later on. In certain lhd markets Ford sold a lower spec 3dr without a sunroof or electric windows and central locking.

I don't believe its a lower spec model but over here those things you mention wer options. My car is a 1986 3dr without a Sunroof and side repeaters but with original central locking and electric windows and mirrors.

I would like to get one of the Jones/ Bond ones as the turbo on my car now was built especially for Colin Bonds car ! Maybe a Peter Brock one as well as Holden fans dont believe Brocky ever drove a Ford !
I'm still trying to find out more about this turbo but thats another thread.

that will be a 909 1989 motorsport shell then. No bad thing as they are very light - ideal for a track car
