Hi.

I'm trying to find the answers here.
I have Mountune MT29 and MT30 camshafts (288º 11.6mm / 282º 9.6mm). Are those suitable for the long rod 9.0:1 and about 500hp engine?

Any opinions?

you can compare them to other more known cams such as kent cams on their website. i believe that duration and lift is for a much higher tune than 500hp. std spec bd8s are 240, 8,50 and good for 430hp+ with enough boost.
i guess it depends on what boost ur gonna run. more duration need less boost to get the power, but will need serious valve cut outs to suit your 9:1 ratio. going to be a mental engine tho.
