They're def different mate, however the later scorpio ones are 4 bolt.
I think they take the fatter 4x4 strut dia, not the smaller 3dr size.
The 3dr brakes and discs all fit up fine, but as Botters noted, the pick up points are slightly different.
I have a set of scorpio ones and look like I will have to replace my 3dr hubs with them (gp A bilsteins going on) but with comp struts and adj top mounts I'm hoping (fingers crossed) I can compensate for the geometry change..
cheers

They certainly will be different, in addition to the stud's, they were also homologated and have a different castor, they are commonly used as upgrades on Saphs, which of course are different as well.
The way to tell the difference between Saph and 3DR, is it has a "castle nut", where as the Saph for example has a "pinch bolt".

Just for a note. Early Granada Scorpio are the same as 3 door ones. But you need to check the bearing size as there are two sizes.
Late Granada Scorpio are the same as 2wd saff.
Both are 5 stud though.
4 stud Scorpio 24v ones are different. Wider track and larger strut hole, there larger than the 4x4 struts.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Any chance that somone could post a pic of a 3door Cos. and a Saph. Cos hub so that you can see the differences ..... "castle nut"/"pinch bolt" .... and TCA picup point and so on ?

This is the photo of a 4x4 hub. The tca mounting is the same as the 2wd saff, pinch bolt type. Its a parallel hole slotted with a bolt that crosses to nip the tca ball joint end.

Then there is the lowered balljoint fixing for better roll center when lowering the car and the pinch vs taper bll joint end.
So 3 door is a 3 door is a 3 door.

Are you saying the early Granada Scorpio hubs give the same roll centre geometry as the 3 door ones? So that would mean the TCA fitment to the hub is also lower on the Granada Scorpio, which I find hard to imagine...
