Default sapphire indicator lense

Right guy whare can i find new indicator lenses for my sapphire? I got 2 a few month ago and they dont fit woth a fu*k. Sure ther lucas ones. Wel one side ok but driver sides jst no right.and its a genuine ford one that came out so. I need to know whare to get ones that are a good fit and what brand are they. Thanx

Bloody bell Jimmy, 30 quid each?? They've gone up a bit over the years?! Glad mine are still in good nick! Lol

I phoned ford 2day. Ther 23+vat each. I may aswell just get them from ford then.saves any mesn about.wasnt realy want to pay nearly 60 quid for indicator lenses but needs must.. lol

The problem is Rich is that the back of the units snap near the retaining spring after a few years of tension I have new ones on the car and a couple of spares in stock

I was thinking of getting a spare pair and somehow cutting the inner orangy bit out, (no, I know its not a jaffa cake!) fitting those Chrome bulbs so its a proper clear lens... Don't think ill bother now! I think if the lugs snap off mine, Mr silicone gun may make an appearance!

I know that Nomad used to do the completely clear ones for a s2 rst, don't know about saph ones

its fiddly trying to get the orange bits out with hook nose pliers

as for the glue mr araldite

Knowing my luck, it would break off an it wouldn't fit back thru the bulbholder! My dad found some lamps the other month, off his old saff, I should of grabbed them, he's probably sold them at the last middx meet!? Lol

Funny enough he still has them see him round at SCR the other day and he said he was having a bit of a garage clear out, ring him and put your name on them

i bought a pair of ford "genuine" clear indicators £23 each as you have stated when they came one was in a ford box and stated made in germany and the other came in a brown cardboard box with a ford sticker on it when i looked at them the one in the brown box was made in china and looked nothing like the germany one it looked very cheap and didn't have the defuser on the orange bit so from the front it looked orange. when i phoned up and complained and asked them to send me a genuine ford one they said they couldn't garantee ford would send them on made in germany in a ford box we just get sent whatever is on the shelf at the front.

i sent them back and got a pair of lucas ones from my local factors at about £6 each.
they haven't got a ford oval molded into the lens like a genuine ford one but they look a damn sight better than the peice of crap ford sent me
