Default 2wd Sierra Engine mounts

I am using my car mainly as a cruiser and frankly the engine mounts are realy annoying me.

The car has these currently installed... (Pro-Flex)

I rang up about going back to Std but local parts guy warned against it as the car has around 420hp and says the std ones fall apart. Are they really that bad if you put new ones in?

I see other brands like Collins and Vibra Technics

Are they any better, worse than what I currently run?

I had 400bhp in the 3dr in my sig on std mounts and never had any issues.

The ones you have will give more vibration through the car and also i dont think pro-flex are the best for these mounts imo

There's no problem on 2WD with the std mounts. Only The 4WDs suffer that problem due to the increased stress on them.

Got some spare ones here but I guess shipping would be pretty expensive...

Dave, since I am having trouble finding anyone that will supply a new set, I may have to take you up on that offer.

Are they new or used? What sort of coin are you looking for? I am going to walk around a few spares places this weekend to see if any local cars have similar dimension mounts
