Default Fitting alarm to Sierra

Hi guys, as above fitting alarm to sierra sapphire, need to connect in the central locking any ideas which wiring diagram i need to follow and which wires are what on the car

Negative locking diagram is required.

Go to the drivers or passengers kick panel. Yellow and white are the wires you want for central locking.

as above, there will be 5 (or possibly 4) wires on a plug

stick your pointy tester into them and see which ones go live when you lock and unlock the door and wire them into that

the 90 spec cars use the same loom but wired the other way around

it'll be more difficult to put the kick panel back on again if you don't tidy up the loom behind it properly, wiring routing wasn't a strong point during assembly

are escorts different to sierras then?

ive just bought a laserline remote locking unit for my mk5a rs2000 and the guys in the shop told me to wire up using the positive diagram?

MK4 Escorts are basically the same as Sierra models, MK5 use positive locking.

Cheers guys, on the negative diagram above I put the 2 ground wires to chassis, then one pulse wire to yellow and other pulse wire to white.
