Default Couple of problems

Right. Ive got a 3 door sierra cosworth. It had been dry stored for 17 years. I bought it and got it all sorted. Passed mot etc. Noticed that the heater blower doesnt work when turned on. Not a dickie bird. Doesnt try or anything. Checked all fuses and they seem ok? Is it likely to be the 3 way switch before i start pulling it apart to try and power it up manually. Second. Couple of months after getting it on the road i was out for a drive and did what i can only describe as a spirited standing start. Got a bit of ( Axle Tramp ) ?? and the rear wiper started working by itself. I tried the witch and nothing. Had to disconnect the plug in the boot lid. I tested it with the car running and my multi meter reads 0 volts when the switch is in the off position. Does anyone thibk it could just be coincidence that it started happening after i did the standing start and is just the motor gone faulty? CheeRS
