Take cam cover off so you can see the valves opening and shutting, turn it around until you can see each cylinder going to the end of the compression stroke, and see which post on the dizzy cap the rotor arm is pointing at for each one and it will show you which lead goes where.
Sounds like when you did the belt though, you didnt properly line up the dizzy drive pulley or the dizzy itself.

Happily retired
6 cylinder engines can fire 123456 ( some Supras do) but a 4 cylinder cant fire 1234.

with the plugs out and put the bottom pully on it TDC check the top pully,s then check aux pully that its timed up on the center of the harf moon then check the rotor arm to see that its lined up with the small cut in the dizzy and all so when timing it up and the begining check that number 1 is at TDC if it still will not run you are rong on the HT leads on the cap

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
You have got the timing 180 out. The cam pulleys have twice as many lobes as the crank pulley, so it takes 2 turns of the crank to turn the cams once.
If you look at your picture it will show you that when you fit the leads 4321 on the head no 4 is then TDC So when the rotor arm turns clockwise as in the diagram the firing order is 4231 whitch is the same as 1342.
Like this normal TDC 1342
90 out 3421
180 out 4213
270 out 2134
back to 360 1342
